Description
The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
• Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• The position requires constant communication with colleagues.
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..) is needed to be successful in this position.
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

Skills

• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language {{Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of one or more: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript etc.}}
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs, desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Jade, EJS, Jinja, etc. depending on your technology stack}}.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors {{such as Stylus, Less, Sass etc. depending on your technology stack}}
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting.
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Good understanding of {{Depending on the specific case, a developer should have knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.}}

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
• Familiarity with development aiding tools {{such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, Gulp, etc. depending on the technology stack}}

Required Education and Experience
Any Degree
Minimum of 6 months of internships in any Android development company and 2 Projects.
Certification from any reputed institute on android development training is an added advantage.
